Australian musician Alex Cameron has announced a show at The Workman's Club in Dublin to celebrate the release of his new album Forced Witness.
Forced Witness is out in September, and Cameron's Dublin appearance is on December 1, 2017.
The high-concept singer/songwriter released his first album Jumping The Shark in 2013, where it was available to download on his purposely ancient-looking website.
Cameron, who was formerly a member of Sydney electronica act Seekae, has adopted the persona of a musician who couldn't cut it in the business and blames the Internet for all his woes. The persona is far from reality, however, as his newest album is to be issued by label Secretly Canadian. He has completed several tours and recently appeared as an opening act for The Killers' concert in London's Hyde Park.

The singer often appears onstage with saxophonist Roy Molloy, who also contributed to Forced Witness, as did American singer Angel Olsen. The new record was recorded in Berlin, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, and produced by Cameron along with Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado.
