Waterford drummer, producer and rapper Alex Gough has announced a new 8-track EP, titled BONUS FEATURES (live from The Clinic).

The live EP is slated to arrive on Friday, January 29th, with 'That's My Job' (live from The Clinic) dropping this Friday, January 22nd.

The irresistibly catchy track shows off Gough's enviable flow and versatility, but the video allows the more playful side of his performer personality to shine.

Speaking to Hot Press recently for the On Our Radar segment, Gough described how jazz permeates throughout his musical livelihood;

"Nobody in my family was listening to jazz, so I only discovered it as my musicianship called for me to find more complex music. My hunger to learn drove me to listen to it all the time, and immerse myself in it. The emotion you can get across in jazz is something you don’t necessarily get, in hip-hop. Historically and culturally, jazz has had way more of an emotional voice. It might be weird to say, but jazz is cool."

Last week, Gough performed at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2021, alongside other Irish talents including Tebi Rex, Denise Chaila, NewDad, Robert Grace and more.
