BASED, an all-ages music festival, is set to take over Dublin’s Button Factory on January 7 2024.
The event has been created in response to the need for more inclusive and accessible music events for younger people. The forward-thinking festival is the first of its kind and is designed to also provide a platform for emerging talent in Ireland.
The lineup contains a stacked selection of some of Ireland’s most exciting up-and-coming acts, with the likes of The Malefactors, Pants On Fire, Taiyo, Ritalin, Na Tonnta and Anita all set to take the stage at the temple bar venue.

Along with the array of burgeoning talent on display, attendees can expect high-end production featuring state-of-the-art lighting and visually stunning effects – promising to elevate the live performances.
Presented by Fluttertone , the BASED festival aims to break down barriers and create an inclusive space for music lovers of all ages - addressing the issue of a lack of safe gig spaces for young people in Ireland.
“I’ve seen so much talent in bands that are up-and-coming but can’t get opportunities to play because they’re not 18.” Said Fluttertone director Colm Slattery.
Earlybird tickets for the are now sold out. General admission tickets start from €20 and be purchased via this link.
