Dublin’s Religion Music label and management stable are stepping up their studio operation, which includes a team of in-house engineers and producers.
Having initially infiltrated the Irish and UK charts with Coast 2 Coast, Fifth Avenue and dance dons Agnelli & Nelson, Religion have extremely high hopes for Dubliner Lesley Roy who they signed in 2005 and have licensed to Justin and Britney’s label, Jive Records.
A recent school leaver, Roy has been working with Evanescence songwriters Dave Hodges and Ben Moody, and signed a management contract with LLC in New York who have former Led Zep, Rolling Stones and Britney Spears woman Kim Kaiman looking after her.
The singer remains signed to the publishing arm of Religion Music for the world alongside her Ballbriggan neighbour, Rory O’Connor, who’s co-written much of her album.
