Ahead of its 2024 return, the first round of artists has been announced for this year's The Road To The Great Escape. The two-day festival takes place on 13 & 14 May in music venues across Dublin, including Whelan’s, Grand Social, Workmans Club, and Academy 2.
Irish acts include contemporary folk trio Amble, who have just announced their brand new EP Of Land And Sea following sold-out shows in Workmans Cellar and The Sugar Club.
Italian-Irish outfit Big Sleep and Dublin-born singer-songwriter Sarah Crean, who earned widespread acclaim for her debut project Death By Laundry last year, make up the rest of the Irish contingent.
From an international perspective, this year’s festival will features Australian pop-duo Cat & Calmell, British-Asian rapper Jianbo, Birmingham Indie act Overpass, and singer-writer-producer Joe P.
