Amy Macdonald has announced two Irish headline shows as part of her upcoming UK and European tour. She will play Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on November 30 and Belfast’s Telegraph Building on December 1.
The announcement comes alongside news of the Scottish singer-songwriter's sixth studio album Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?, set for release on July 11 via Infectious. The album explores themes of toxic friendships, feeling stuck in relationships, and breaking away from social expectations.
The 'This Is The Life' singer has attracted a huge audience, leading to five albums which have gone Top 5 across Europe, with over 12 million sales, 12 international Platinum certifications, and over a billion streams.
“I feel very lucky to be in the place I am now," Amy said. "I’ve got this career, good friends, my family, and people still seem to want to hear my music, which is great. There’s a realness in me, something raw – honestly I’m winging it most of the time.”
