His live performances are always worth seeing.
Anderson Paak is no stranger to Irish shores. The California native has performed on a number of occasions here in recent years, most recently putting on a great show at Longitude this past summer. Not content their, Paak will be back as early as March, where he's announced a show in the Olympia Theatre on the 19th as part of ‘Andy’s Beach Club World Tour’, which comes hot on the heels of his recently released album Oxnard.
The multi-talented artist will take in 25 cities across the US, Europe and Ireland along with his band The Free Nationals on his travels, and will be performing an album that has been the subject of rave reviews since it dropped in November.
Oxnard is his third studio record, and features some of the best material yet from the man who is famed for being able to seamlessly play the drums and sing in his live performances. The album is executive produced by Dr. Dre and features the likes of hip-hop royalty Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, J. Cole, Q-Tip, and Pusha T, and marked a career high for Paak as it debuted as the #1 Independent album in the country according to Billboard, as well as having amassed in excess of 100 million streams to date.
Tickets for Anderson Paak and The Free Nationals at The Olympia Theatre go on sale from Ticketmaster this Friday - December 7th - and are priced €48 including booking and restoration fees.
