The acclaimed record is about going to the darkest places inside yourself, facing your fears, and learning they can serve as a portal to something bigger, brighter and better.
Light, Dark, Light Again was recorded slowly and purposefully across a year between McMahon’s home city of Naarm with the help of Alex O'Gorman and Bonnie Knight, and in the North Carolina town of Durham.
In the latter location- where the majority of the album’s tracks came together - she worked alongside esteemed Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Brad Cook who has worked with the likes of Bon Iver, and Snail Mail.
The June 2024 headliner marks the first time Mahon's since before the pandemic, when the artist played an intimate set at Dingle's Other Voices in 2019.
Tickets for McMahon's UK/Ireland dates can be purchased here tomorrow Friday 24th at 10 am.
