The July bash takes place in Roscommon's Lough Key Forest Park
Having confirmed before Christmas that they were going again on June 24th and 25th on a new site = Lough Key Forest Park - Roscommon's Night And Day Festival has just announced its first batch of acts.
It's shaping up to be quite the weekend with that list including Anna Calvi, Mercury Rev, Hothouse Flowers, Pillow Queens, Wallis Bird, Emma Langford, Gruff Rhys and The Eskies.
With loads more yet to be unveiled, we have an early contender for Small Festival Bill of the Summer!
Being back on the festival circuit seems to indicate that Anna Calvi is soon to bring us the follow up to 2018's much-garlanded Hunter while Mercury Rev will hopefully be adding to a discography that currently ends with 2019's Bobbie Gentry's The Delta Sweete Revisited.

There's also a fine smattering of Irish talent including Hot Press cover stars Pillow Queens, the evergreen Hothouse Flowers and one of the best things to come out of Limerick in recent years - and there's been lots of competition! - Emma Langford.
