The 24-year-old power singer Anne-Marie Nicholson - who made Hot Press' 'Hot for 2016' shortlist - talks about her treasured friendship with Ed Sheeran.

"He really like my stuff - or at least he says he does," Nicholson laughs. The Essex singer first met the world's most popular musician singer in London as a 17-year-old. "He is someone i look up to for sure, he is so focused and determined."

Anne-Marie discussed the showbiz tips that Ed offered to her. "Really the best advice was just to keep grounded and stay determined."

Sheeran did add that she should definitely keep her "family in the loop" and make sure to try and include them as much as possible on her hectic journey.
