The famed Galway International Arts Festival is celebrating its 46th year this summer
The Irish DJ and broadcaster Annie Mac is set to perform at the Heineken Big Top stage on July 21 as part of the 2024 iteration of the Galway International Arts Festival.
Tickets for Mac's headliner go on sale tomorrow at 10am, and will be priced from €35.
Although no time has been specified for doors, the gig promises to be an early show for a DJ set as it will be performed as part of Mac's Before Midnight series. The Before Midnight series is designed to evoke the feelings of a hedonistic DJ set without going into the wee hours of the morning.
The series has been described "as a chance for Mac to play long DJ sets with all her favourite records, those that spark joy, and a chance for you to have all the fun, the euphoria and the wild abandon you need and still get a good night’s sleep".
Mac is an author, broadcaster and DJ. Over her 20-year career in the arts, she has created a far-reaching cultural presence, with a strong legacy of presenting flagship music shows on BBC Radio 1; performing on the biggest stages of international music festivals, in the DJ booths of the world’s best clubs, as well as creating the aforementioned popular club night series Before Midnight.
