Another Late Night
This is a near definitive block rocking collection of good time music
Northern hip-hop types Rae & Christian might have a moody image, but, on the evidence of Late Night they certainly know how to put together a cool house party sound-track. Unlike the standard fare, seamlessly mixed, 4/4 DJ sets, this duo look to selecting uplifting, good time tracks that work in their own right.
From the soulful, uplifting beats of Joshua, Riton, Nash and Dubble D, to vocal led contributions from Zum and Capoira Twins, brassy beats by Esther Philips and 12 Bushy & Professor through to the electro-disco fuelled house meets breaks of H20, finishing off with a folk cover of The Mamas & Papas ‘California Dreamin’, this is a near definitive block rocking collection of good time music.
