Imagine The Mavericks having it off with Dire Straits and you'll get close to Shiels' impressive effort. It's most noteworthy for its sassy melody and classy guitar playing, with Sheils achieving a fast and fluid dexterity akin to Albert Lee or Knopfler himself. It makes you want more of his attractive axemanship. The CD is fleshed out with 'Sanctuary', proof that Shiels' guitar virtuosity on the first track was no fluke.
