Another Love Story (ALS) has announced a surprise headline act for their tenth-anniversary edition, which kicks off next month.

Zambian contemporary artist Sampa The Great will bring her massively energetic live show to Killyon Manor, having road-tested her set supporting the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish on tour.

Sampa The Great joins Modeselektor, Grandbrothers, Hailu Mergia, Shit Robot, Jape, Leafar Legov, John Francis Flynn, DUG and more as the festival continues on its path as one of Ireland's premier gatherings amongst the meadows and mysterious corners of Killyon Manor at ALS '24.

In just a few short years, Sampa The Great (aka Sampa Tembo) has established herself as one of rap's most compelling and outspoken voices, reaching new levels of recognition and acclaim with the release of her defining album, As Above, So Below, in 2022. The record marked a return to her roots as well as a mark of her pushing the boundaries of her artistic ambition.

Recent years have seen her collaborate with the likes of Denzel Curry, Angelique Kidjo, The Avalanches, Baker Boy and Emmanuel Jagari Chanda (WITCH).

A global artistic luminary, Sampa The Great has brought the essence of her culture together with a powerful and progressive blend of sonic influences; creating a contemporary sounds that has illuminated a rarely-seen creative journey.
