The edition features a total of twenty seven tracks.
Aphex Twin has announced the release of Selected Ambient Works Volume II (Expanded Edition), out October 4, 2024, in five new formats.
The project includes all songs, on all formats for the first time, with the previously vinyl-only track ‘#19’ alongside two additional tracks, officially released and on other physical formats for the first time.
As well as cassette, CD, vinyl and digital versions, an extremely limited 4LP Box is also available.
The set includes: Black 4LP vinyl in polylined inner sleeves, printed 3mm spine outer sleeves, fold out poster, sticker sheet and booklet containing development sketches for the original artwork concept by designer Paul Nicholson.
Contents will be housed in a hinged oak case with a bespoke chemical etched and eroded copper plate and engraved logo with paint infill. Made to order with a limited pre order window, the edition will not be repressed.

Selected Ambient Works Volume II was originally released 30 years ago in 1994 when Richard D. James was in his early 20’s.
The Limerick native has since gone on to be one of the most celebrated and influential electronic artists of all time – renowned for his ability to push the limits with what can be achieved with electronic equipment, traversing genres from acid-techno to ambient and everything in between.
