Apply Some Pressure
'Apply Some Pressure' is an absolutely fantastic record, bursting with the kind of wide eyed energy that has made all this sort of stuff so exciting.
It’s funny how fresh and exciting can turn into cliché in such a short space of time. Maximo Park already run the risk of sounding a bit like post-Franz bandwagon jumpers, saved by the fact that they were doing this sort of stuff a year ago and that 'Apply Some Pressure' is an absolutely fantastic record, bursting with the kind of wide eyed energy that has made all this sort of stuff so exciting. The NME will probably kill it off by trying to turn it into the next Britpop, but for the moment just enjoy
