Rock group Arctic Monkeys will release a limited number of tickets today for their Dublin date at the 3Arena.

The band will be playing in the arena on September 24 and the 25.

Tickets will be available from 1pm today so fans must be quick to snatch them up!

Tickets will be priced from €65.95 including booking and facility fees via Ticketmaster.

The group announced that they would be performing in Ireland last April, sending fans into a frenzy. Tickets were snatched up quickly, however promoters appeared to have kept a small number of tickets on hold.

The English group are promoting their latest album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino . This will be the band's first arena tour in Ireland since 2009 when they brought their Humburg Tour to the 02 (now the 3Arena). The group have played in Electric Picnic and the Oxygen Festival in 2013 and 2011 respectively on their last two tours.

The Lemon Twigs had previously been announced as the opening act for the tour.
