Tour dates for the UK and Ireland could be on the horizon.
Arctic Monkeys have shared their first tour dates for 2022.
On Twitter, the Sheffield band announced a handful of European dates in Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia and the Czech Republic for August 2022. They plan to perform at Istanbul's Zorlu PSM on August 9 and 10, Burgas' Port of Burgas on August 12, Pula's Arena Pula on August 16 and Prague's Výstaviště Praha on August 18.
Tickets for these tour dates go on sale next Wednesday, November 24, at 9am on their website.
With this announcement, many are anticipating an announcement for UK and Ireland tour dates and festival slots.
In August, it was revealed that Arctic Monkeys had been recording material for their seventh album in Suffolk at The Butley Priory, a hotel and wedding venue. Earlier this month, drummer Matt Helders confirmed that the upcoming record is "pretty much" completed and is expected to be released early next year.

"It was a bit disjointed how we had to do it, and there are bits to finish off, but yeah, it's all in the works," Helders told presenters on BBC 5's Live Breakfast for the BBC's Drumathon. "I think by the time we get everything together it'll be next year. Hopefully we can get out and tour next summer."
