If this single is anything to go by, Ms. Branch appears to be attempting to swipe the crown right off lil’ Avril’s centre-parting. Again, the girlie-anger has been polished to perfection to appeal to the Impulse-wearing, Dawson’s Creek-watching populace, although in this instance, the result is a calcified, slightly generic offering. In saying that, it’s a well-executed pop song with sufficiently wide enough appeal to ensure that it will crop up in some Clueless-style teen flick before long.
