This "small gesture" is the second giveaway that the pop singer-songwriter has done in the last year with mental health platform Better Help.
Ariana Grande and Better Help are giving away $5 million (approx. €4.3 million) in free therapy to fans.
Announcing the giveaway on World Mental Health Day (October 10), the pop singer-songwriter has said she is "beyond thrilled" to be teaming up with mental health platform Better Help. The giveaway offers a free month of therapy for those who sign up, as well as a 15% discount for the following month for those that choose to continue the service.
"i acknowledge that there are very real barriers when it comes to accessing mental health resources, and while this is only one small gesture (and a much larger systemic problem remains) i wanted to do this again with @betterhelp in hopes of bringing access to a few more people and perhaps inspiring a few of you to try something new and prioritize your own healing," she wrote on Instagram.
Earlier this year, Grande did a similar giveaway with Better Help, offering $1 million (approx. €865,000) in therapy to fans. For Mental Health Awareness Month in May, she also posted on Instagram about ending the stigma surrounding mental health.
"healing isn’t linear, fun, quick or at all easy," she wrote, "but we are here and we’ve got to commit to making this time as healthy, peaceful and beautiful as possible. the work is so hard but we are capable and worth it. sending so much love and strength."
