Ariana Grande is topping the charts with her latest smash single 'thank u, next'. Now the singer takes on the cult film favourite Mean Girls in her new music video. Pulling out all the stops, Grande has enlisted some famous faces to join her in recreating the 2004 film, including an original cast member.
Grande released a teaser for the much anticipated video featuring Coleen Ballinger, Troye Sivan and Jonathon Bennet who played Aaron Samuels in the original film.
The teaser recreates an iconic scene from the chick flick. A few well-known lines from Mean Girls are snuck into the teaser, as well as a quick mention of her engagement to Pete Davidson. The teaser is aligns well with the original, watch the scene below.

Grande has hinted that four films will feature in the music video overall; Bring It On (2000), 13 Going On 30 (2004), Legally Blonde (2001) and Mean Girls (2004).
Last week Ariana Grande shared a photo inspired by Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. The photo showed Elle's laptop from the film and even tagged Harvard University as her location. Grande even quoted Woods, Elle in her caption, "whoever thought orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed".
Fans expect the music video to drop on Wednesday to honor Mean Girls' day.
