Fans have had some mixed reactions...
Songstress Ariana Grande has released her latest album Sweetener .
The album contains 15 tracks and features collaborations from Missy Elliot and Nicki Minaj. Grande also covers a track called 'R.E.M', which had originally been sung by Beyonce with the intention of appearing on Lemonade , before being passed off onto Grande. Beyonce released her demo version earlier this month as a teaser for Sweetener .
Grande shared a link to the album's download site via Twitter, with the caption 'hello she’s out'.

Fans have had a mixed reaction to the new music, with some heralding the new release as the best album yet:
Sweetener is Ariana Grande's best album yet, as it is her most original and cohesive. While the tracks on Dangerous Woman were slightly better, the songs on Sweetener glued together and gave the album a very good theme, and also didn't bombard one chunk of the album with singles

Whilst most of the album has been well received, some fans had quite an unfavorable view on the tracks Pharrell Williams co-produced. It seems stan Twitter don't appreciate his interference with Grande's campy and stylish aesthetic. Williams worked on tracks 'blazed', 'the light is coming', 'R.E.M', 'sweetener', 'successful', 'borderline', and 'get well soon'.

I was so disappointed with Sweetener by Ariana Grande because I expect her to be very very good but I just always get let down by how it turns out.
Man in the Woods by JT proved Pharrell has lost his producing this touch, so I ain’t surprised here— ashton (@ashtonf2m) August 17, 2018
