It was also revealed that singer Demi Lovato had split with Braun last month, and Justin Bieber is reportedly looking for new management.
Mega pop star Ariana Grande has reportedly split from her longtime producer Scooter Braun, according to sources close to the artist. No reason has yet been given for the split. Braun has been Grande's producer since the release of her first album, Yours Truly, in 2013.
Braun has signed with some of the biggest names in the music industry, but it seems now that many of them are trying to go their separate ways. It was also revealed that Demi Lovato left Braun last month, the singer having signed with him in 2019. Rumours were circulating describing a rift between Justin Bieber and Braun as well, which would undoubtedly be a big blow for the producer as he "discovered" Bieber in 2007 and jumpstarted his career. However, representatives for Bieber have since denied that he has parted ways with Braun, but it looks as though he is actively looking for new management.

Braun is perhaps most well-known for his infamous rift with Taylor Swift. In 2019, he purchased the rights to her masters, after acquiring her former record label, Big Machine Label Group. He then didn't allow her to buy the rights to her masters, meaning she was thereafter unable to make money from the sale and performance of her records.

This inspired Swift to rerecord all of the albums that she no longer owned, releasing "Taylor's Versions" of them beginning in 2021. She recently released her rerecording of Speak Now (Taylor's Version), and recently announced the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version) this fall.
It is still unclear what the reasons for the big-name splits are, though the split with Grande has been reported as "amicable".
