Parks' live stream with Rough Trade will take place on January 21st, eight days before the arrival of 'Collapsed In Sunbeams'.
British rising star Arlo Parks has shared a music video for her song 'Caroline'. The track is the latest single from Parks' forthcoming debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams.
The video is directed by Brock Neal-Roberts, and delves into the middle of an emotional love story, with stunning, muted shots of Parks to detail a deeper narrative. This particular visual follows the track's lyric video, which was released last month.
"Making this video with Brock was such an organic and emotional process," Parks explains. "We wanted to make something distinctly human and tender, I'm so proud of this piece and the way it reflects the story behind Caroline."
Parks is set to begin a residency at BBC 6 Music, starting January 20th. BBC 6 Music's Artist In Residence is a journey into the musical soul of an artist, based around a theme or mood. In each episode, she will share records that have informed specific moments in her life. Episodes will be available for one month after they air on BBC Sounds. Parks is also scheduled to perform on this year's Top Of The Pops iconic New Years' Eve episode.
