Ireland Music Week 2024 is now looking for the artists that will perform in October.
This October 1 through 4, the Ireland Music Week festival will take place for the 22nd year in various venues across Dublin.
The showcase festival is now taking applications for artists who would like to perform in the showcase. Applications close on Monday, March 25 at 5 p.m.
Up to 50 acts will be chosen to take part in the festival and play at the internationally-recognised event which helps showcase Ireland’s best emerging artists. These performances will take place on the Thursday and Friday of the festival.
Bookers, labels, publishers, managers, agents and many international professionals will be in attendance which is meant to boost the development of Irish artists.
The CEO of First Music Contact, Angela Dorgan, commented that “seeing how brilliantly past IMW showcasing artists have been doing globally over the last few years really shows us how vital a step in the showcase can be for an artist’s growth.”
Ireland Music Week also prioritises representation in this festival and has made it a goal to have 50% women and underrepresented gender minorities in its lineup.
