The lineup for 'The Stables - Live At The Showgrounds' has been announced. The one-day festival, which will take place at The Showgrounds in Mullingar on August 28, will feature performances from Aslan, Lisa Canny, Flynn, Scally, Paulie Martin, and Cody.

Established in 1989, The Stables has hosted musicians like Glen Hansard, Damien Dempsey, and Lisa Hannigan. In 2008, Hot Press awarded the venue a special commendation award. This festival marks the Stables' first venture outside of their venue location, and they hope to develop it into a multi-stage festival in the future.

Funded in part by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media's Live Performance Support Scheme, the event will host the six musical performances at the Culleen Equestrian Showgrounds in Co. Westmeath.

Attendees will be able to purchase tickets in pods of four, five, and six, and a free shuttle bus ticket from Mullingar to the music venue will be included with each purchase.
