Their newest track is a "sweeping ballad of love, life and hope".
In their first socially distanced meeting since lockdown, Aslan have filmed a secret, special video for brand new single 'Hold On' in Dublin Port.
The track is set for release on June 17th, examining "life and what it means at its core".
"Christy, Joe, Billy, Alan and Rod were due to release this beautiful single earlier this year. A certain pandemic changed plans, but the band felt the time is right to put this new music out to the world," the statement reads.
Lead vocalist Christy Dignam celebrated his 60th birthday in lockdown, recently revealing that he is receiving chemotherapy once again in his battle against a rare form of blood cancer.
The 'Crazy World' singer was diagnosed with amyloidosis, an incurable form of cancer, in 2013.
