The track follows 'Come Away With Me', which was released in January of this year and has won three awards.
Irish singer-songwriter Audrey Bridgeman has released her brand new track, 'Celtic Woman,' today (June 20). The track features Bridgeman on vocals and drums and was co-written by guitarist Gerry Hendrick, who also produced the song.
Released in conjunction with the Summer Solstice, 'Celtic Woman' aims to reflect on the time it has taken to reclaim some of the ancient power and wisdom that women held in Celtic times and the importance of connection to our ancestors.
Speaking of the track, Bridgeman explains that the lyrics remind us that while Celtic women may have a different appearance now, this change needs to be embraced and welcomed.
The song is delivered with an original music video directed by John Bermingham and was shot up in the Mahon Falls and Dunhill castle ruins, Co. Waterford.
'Celtic Woman' follows the release of Bridegman, 'Come Away With Me', which was released in January of this year and has received international acclaim.
The singer-songwriter recently returned from the LA Movie Awards, where she picked up a Best Music Video Award and also won 2 awards in San Diego at the Accolade Global Film Competition earlier in the year.
