She will play at Trinity College Dublin on June 29.
Norwegian artist AURORA has announced her biggest Irish show to date as part of the Trinity Summer Series in Trinity College Dublin for June 29.
Known for her ethereal voice and unique blend of electronic pop and folk influences, AURORA first burst into the scene in 2015 with her debut EP Running With The Wolves, which was followed by the 2016 LP All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend.
Exploring themes of nature, love, and the human experience through lyrical complexity, the musician also advocates for environmental and social issues, using her platform to raise awareness about climate change, mental health, and equality.
Her fourth studio album What Happened To The Heart? was released in 2024 and rated an 8/10 by Hot Press, who called it “Norwegian pop polymath’s definitive attempt to craft an ecosystem around her work. It’s an offering of rhetorical questions and resounding affirmations, with a sweeping sonic palette.”

AURORA recently topped the Shazam charts in Ireland with song 'Through The Eyes of a Child', following its appearance on the Netflix series Adolescence. Reflecting on the tune’s renewed significance, the musician took to Instagram to write “Now the words mean a lot more to me. The deep need for the world to stop neglecting the inner child, and confusing innocence with weakness.
“I hope the song gives people something good. It was always written in the hope that it would find people and treat them kindly.”
Tickets for AURORA’s Trinity Series show on June 29 go on sale this Thursday, April 17 and sell for €59.90 here.
