The EP is dedicated to AVA festival and the unique energy and sounds it hosts.
Ron Elliot, winner of AVA Festival's 2019 Emerging Producer competition, is set to release his biggest EP to date, HIVE, on February 28.
Elliot was stunned by the passion and unique industrial and high energy sound he encountered at AVA in years past and has dedicated HIVE to the festival. It's a representation of AVA and what it treasures, with warpy vocal melodies, pounding 808 infused drums, crunchy break-beats, glitchy and rolling basslines. HIVE also features a remix by Belfast duo PSST.
He's made a name for himself within the Dublin house and techno scene, playing sets at District 8, Opium Rooms, Button Factory and the now demolished Hangar. He now hosts his own shows in Wigwam under the Shed Sessions brand.

After playing a few gigs outside of Ireland, he's currently making plans of beginning his new chapter in Amsterdam and looking to solidify his name in the ranks among the city and the rest of mainland Europe. Find Elliot on Soundcloud here.
