The Swedish superstar has said a new LP is in the works, with some unlikely collaborators...
It's moments like these where the the limited power of words becomes painfully apparent...
If you've ever listened to your old Matisyahu records (stay with me) and thought "I wonder what this would sound like with a bit more reggae..and Wyclef Jean," then you may not have long to wait.
Swedish DJ and super-producer Avicii has announced that he is working on what he calls 'a rock album'. While the closest we've really come to true rock has been his recent collaboration with Coldplay, producing their single 'A Sky Full of Stars', he has told Rolling Stone that a new long player is in the pipeline.

Among the unlikely recruits to help out with the project are Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Jon Bon Jovi, Serj Tankian of System of a Down and old pal Chris Martin of Coldplay. And yes, a reggae duet by Matisyahu and Wyclef Jean.
Just when you thought you've heard it all, eh?
