A new single will be released following the band's reformation and label change
Skindive prove that reports of their demise are greatly exaggerated with the September 5 release of 'Falling Down'.
It's the first track to be lifted from Precious, their second album which follows later in the year on the Alpha Male label.
Have signed on the dotted line in 1999 with Chris Blackwell's Palm Pictures label, the Dublin-based outfit released their eponymous debut to considerable acclaim but precious few sales.
Not convinced that they were singing from the same hymn sheet, Skindive asked to be released from their two-album deal.

"This was a hard time for us all, and it came to a breaking point," says lead singer Danielle Harrison. "We didn't see it as being anyone's fault, but things just weren't working out. "We all had to make some very tough decisions which we knew would affect us in a big way – the band went through some major changes of our own and it was decided that it would be best to leave the label."
The "major changes" are the departure of fellow members Gerry Owens and Alan Lee who recently took over from Gavin Fox in Turn.
Harrison admits that she was initially reluctant to take over the reins. "It was slightly daunting at first, knowing that I wouldn't have the security of the band as it was, but now I'm really looking forward to it," she resumes. "We have a great album here and I can't wait to get out and play it live."
