The Cork-born alt-rocker is bringing their Crown The Witch Tour to Ireland with stops in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast this autumn.
Bambie Thug is bringing “Ouija-pop” to Ireland this autumn, with an exciting headline show at The Academy in Dublin on Thursday 31st October, alongside stops at the Limelight in Belfast, Roisín Dubh in Galway and Cork City Hall.
The exciting news comes just after Bambie Thug’s triumph in Malmö, where they placed sixth as the Irish representative at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest –– the highest placement for Ireland in 24 years –– and made history as the first openly non-binary contestant to compete in the Eurovision final. Their spellbinding entry, ‘Doomsday Blue’, went on to flood global charts, reaching the top 40 in Ireland, Lithuania, Greece and Finland, as well as landing in the top 10 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50.
Now, Bambie Thug is ready to hit the road with their first ever international tour, smashing gender and socio-political stereotypes in the process. “So excited to bring Ouija Pop to so many countries on my first ever headline run with ‘Crown The Witch Tour’,” Bambie said of the announcement. “Expect magic, music and more. Look forward to welcoming you into the coven x”
Effortless blending the elements of pop, rock and electronic dance music, Bambie Thug’s live performances are bursting with witchy verses, killer screams, and metallic roars, all tied together with Bambie’s striking ability to command a crowd.
