The track will be released on October 8.
After both Loah and Cork-based producer Bantum's 2020 plans were derailed by the ever-present pandemic, the duo (who have collaborated extensively), are gearing up to release a new single, called 'NGLA'.
The song promises to be a 'sad banger' – equal parts melancholic and energetic. Loah is an Irish-Sierra Leonean singer-songwriter and actor, and Bantum blends elements of electronica, funk, dance and hip-hop. His 2016 album Move was nominated for the RTE Choice Music Prize.
Vocal production on the single was done by Fehdah (Loah’s sister). Additional production by Dublin-based producers SENU and Wastefellow, with backing vocals by Abbacaxi and Bob Gallagher. Mixed by Eric Lau (Masego, Lupe Fiasco, Georgia Ann Muldrow) and mastered by Tony Cousins (Adele, Bat For Lashes, Moloko).
