The final single from the acclaimed Irish band is out later this week.
Four years after the release of their debut single, 'Gentle Kind of Lies', BARQ have revealed that they're disbanding, following the release of their final single, 'The Table', on October 29.
In a statement shared on social media, the band revealed that the upcoming track would be their "final release as a group".
"We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all the support over the last few years," they continued. "With so much great music in the world, and particularly in this country, it always gave us a giddy thrill whenever anybody took the time to play our songs, come to a gig, write about our music, book us a show... the list goes on. We are extremely grateful.
"Thank you and goodbye from BARQ!"
