The dreamy music video compliments the track's warm atmosphere.
Barrie-James has shared the music video for his utterly delightful track 'Magic Me'. It's the lead single from his most recent album Psychedelic Soup, released earlier this month.
'Magic Me' is a tender alt-folk tune, evoking a poignant sense of reflection akin to the greats Bob Dylan and Jeff Buckley. The Glasgow-based singer-songwriter explores the softer sides of psych-rock with his warm tone and acoustic guitar. The nostalgic video is dreamy, much like the song itself.
Barrie-James' soulful and funk embellished psych-rock takes inspiration from the likes of Frank Zappa, Elliot Smith and Jeff Buckley. His debut album Cold Coffee was released in 2016 and met with acclaim from an incredibly devoted global fanbase. Psychedelic Soup is a 15-track whirlwind musical experience that traverses genre between prog, folk and more. A prolific songwriter, he's also worked with Lana Del Rey in the past.
