If ever Kate Bush and Blondie miraculously had a child it would be Natasha Khan aka Bat For Lashes
The wistful singer mesmerised a packed Electric Arena with her sensually dark and fantastical melodies.
If you weren't already acquainted with the lovely singer, then seeing her for the first time made you feel like you had been transported back to the '70s, bang in the middle of a Kate Bush concert. Gliding onto the stage like something from the spirit world, the talented vocalist was vintage Kate Bush from her corpse-bride dress, to her soul-stirring vocals and the otherworldly glow enveloping her - all that was missing was a round of the iconic 'Wuthering Heights'.
She captivated the audience with melancholic old and new hits. The irresistible 'Daniel' - an ode to young love - was a synth heavy '80s throwback, followed by the reflective and dramatic elegance of 'Laura' and 'Moon and Moon' whose aching beauty were accentuated by melodramatic piano clusters.

Her exquisite vocals soared in the ballad 'Glass' against a powerful tribal drum beat, and shivery guitar riffs. Channelling Stevie Nicks in a cover of Fleetwood Mac's wistful 'Gypsy', the incredible songstress finished in style by thanking the audience and throwing her bouquet like a perfect bride.
It was an ethereal, Tim Burtonesque delight that left all the senses tingling.
