Proceeds from the all-star collaborative cover of 'Times Like These', originally by Foo Fighters, will go to charity.
BBC Radio 1 have brought together some of the music industry's biggest stars for its biggest and most amibitious Live Lounge yet in support of the global effort to stay safe and stay home during the Covid-19 crisis.
The 'Stay Home Live Lounge', released today, sees big names like Dermot Kennedy, Sam Fender, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, Ellie Goulding, YUNGBLUD and more collaborating on a cover of Foo Fighters' 'Times Like These' to raise money for charity. The Live Lounge was recorded and filmed by artists from their own homes, and produced by Grammy and Ivor Novello award-winning producer Fraser T. Smith, who was worked with the likes of Stormzy, Adele and more. The video will premiere later tonight during BBC's Big Night In and can also be streamed here.
The single is currently available on streaming platforms and for purchase. UK proceeds will combine with funds raised by BBC's Big Night In, to be split equally between BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief to provide essential support to vulnerable people of all ages and backgrounds across the UK who will be significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. International proceeds will go towards the WHO’s COVID-19-Solidarity Response Fund.
