The songs were written during the sessions for the group's eighth studio album, Once Twice Melody.
"We didn’t think they fit in the world of OTM, but later realised they all fit in a little world of their own,” Beach House shared in a recent press release.

“To us, they are all kind of scuzzy and spacious, and live in the spirit realm," they added, discussing the songs featured on Become. "It’s not really where we are currently going, but it’s definitely somewhere we have been. We hope you enjoy these tunes.”
Beach House are often labeled as a dream pop group, featuring ambient guitar and breathy, ethereal vocals. Become follows suit, captivating listeners with its immersive and otherworldly sound.
They made their scoring debut with penning the music for the Netflix series Along For The Ride last year.
