The release of Irish favourites Mister Bishi’s massive ‘Tell Me (Toy Boy)’ has been delayed until the end of the month after potential legal complications forced Steve Hill and Jon Langford to re-record it. Poor Ingo was so afraid of getting electrocuted in the hot, sweaty atmosphere in Camolin’s outdoor arena recently that he refused to play. The unfortunate hard house star’s records were lost by his airline earlier that evening so it just wasn’t his night. The Club Space celebrations carried on regardless, and the venue drew its biggest crowd since New Year’s Eve … The star’s of last year’s Winterparty are appearing again at Winterparty 2, at the Point Theatre on October 13th. Sasha commented: “Myself and John (Digweed) still regard last year’s Winterparty as one of the best events of the year. I’m really looking forward to playing to the Irish crowd again.” Diggers added: “I’ve been a regular at Homelands and the Redbox, but I’ve never played The Point. From what I’ve heard from Carl Cox it’s going to be a wicked event.” Coxy is the third international star on the bill, after the organisers rescheduled the planned November date just so he could play. Congratulations to Ireland’s premier drum ‘n’ bass club Bassbin, which celebrated its 5th birthday party recently… With renovations complete, and a new sound and lighting system fully installed, Thursday nights at The Pulse in Letterkenny re-open this week under the expert guidance of Northwest heroes Timmy & Tommy. Guests lined up in the coming weeks include 2FM’s John Power, and Tony Watters, one of the most under-rated DJs in the country… Belfast’s DJ Modelle, aka Micky Tuff Twin, makes his Dublin debut at Temple Theatre on October 6th. The flamboyant spinner, a prolific producer with three labels, has been one of the busiest DJs in Northern Ireland for several years… John Cecchini plays Shooters in Dublin on October 5th… Sasha, Sander Kleinberg, Dave Seaman, John Digweed and Seb Fontaine all play at Lush in October. The Portrush venue is nominated for Best Club in this year’s MMDA Awards… Joey Beltram plays TBMC on October 13th…
