Beck has released 14 studio albums to date, featuring hits like 'Loser', 'Where It‘s At' and 'Dreams'.
With a stripped back acoustic the singer-songwriter Beck is yearning for an absent loved one on his new ballad 'Thinking About You'.
The song features contributions from Blake Mills (guitar and mandolin), Justin Meldal-Johnsen (bass) and Roger Manning (keyboards).
“Don’t treat me like a stranger, the other side of love,” he sings at one point, adding "I crossed seven oceans and painted your highway blue. Just thinking about you, thinking about you".
The track has been played before at some of Beck's gigs - listen to the studio version below:
Beck's 14th and most recent studio album Hyperspace came out back in February 2019. Since then, the musician has collaborated with artists like the Gorillaz.

In the past Beck released a cover of Paul McCartney‘s 'Find My Way' as part of the McCartney III: Imagined record in 2021. One year later he covered Neil Young's well known song 'Old Man' (2022).
This Wednesday, Beck performed as part of a star-studded Grammy tribute to the Beach Boys' 'Sloop John B'. Teaming up with My Morning Jacket, he also performed 'Good Vibrations'.
