Dunlop’s debut album, No. 79, presented a stripped-back fusion of folk and soul, earning the artist critical acclaim and radio play across the UK and Ireland.
His sophomore offering, Animal, recorded at Belfast’s Sycamore Studios, has seen his music evolve, layering in the energy and nuances of Synth-pop.
Music from Dunlop’s two albums has featured in both television and Cinema, being heard on the soundtracks to hit TV series such as Nashville, Lucifer and Suits among others.
Taking inspiration from musical icons like Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Tom Waits, Dunlop began his musical career at 14, performing covers and original songs at live venues across Ireland and the UK.
He went on to win the Young Songwriter of the Year award in Belfast in 2011, which led to collaborations with seasoned writers in Nashville and allowed him to tour the United States.
