The band also revealed dates in Cork alongside the Dowry Strings this December
Irish rock band Bell X1 have announced a couple of end-of-year shows at the Helix, Dublin on 20 and 21 December.
“We are excited to announce a series of shows in Dublin that are born out of our favourite collaborative moments of the past few years," said the band. "We will perform for the first time at The Helix in Dublin with Theodora Byrne and a 12-person choir. These shows will feature new vocal arrangements from across the catalogue. We are looking forward to closing out the year with you in this special way!”
Theodora Byrne is a session vocalist, keyboardist, arranger, songwriter and musical director, who has collaborated with artists such as Lisa Hannigan, James Vincent McMorrow, Wallis Bird, Saint Sister and more.
Kildare alt-rockers Bell X1 were founded in 1999, and have since released eight studio albums. Their latest LP, Merciful Hour, arrived in May 2023, receiving a 9/10 from Hot Press.

They've have also built up a reputation for a captivating, constantly changing live show, with recent performances with the Dowry Strings garnering particular acclaim. This particular collaboration is set to return to Cork, with shows at St. Luke's taking place on 12-14 December.
