‘Demon Stomp’ is the 3rd single from the 'neo rock-and-roll' Irish artist’s forthcoming EP.
Emerging rock artist Black Pope has dropped his brand new single ‘Demon Stomp’ which is taken from his upcoming EP, Music For Girls Vol 1.
‘Demon Stomp’ tells the story of a tennager witnessing a demonic possession on the dancefloor. It was recorded in Monique Studios in Cork and was produced by Cian O’Riordan who mixed St. Vincent’s latest album, Daddy’s Home.
“I guess the song is about not belonging anywhere, and the emotional chaos that can cause,” said the songwriter in a press release. “We all find a balance of how much we’re willing to go along with other people's expectations, but without a strong sense of self, it can be easy to get lost. All that, plus you’re 16 and possessed by the Devil.”
This is the rising Cork rocker’s third release from his debut EP, which is slated to land in the summer. ‘Goth Girl’ dropped in September 2020 and was followed by ‘Werewolf, Man’ in October. These were Black Pope's first releases since 2016, when the Berlin-based talent dropped 'One Shot Kill.'
