The tune is set to appear on the band's debut album, due next year.
Berlin-based band Sector 5 have dropped their latest pop rock anthem 'Ghosts', alongside an incredible new music video.
Taking healthy doses of inspiration from '90s alt rock, the outfit have astutely blended massive-sounding guitars with an infectious chorus melody, earning themselves a Best Rock Song award at the 41st German Rock & Pop Prize. The stunning accompanying video, directed by Jonas Kreschnak, has been similarly lauded by tastemakers, taking home the award for Best Music Video at the International Music Video Awards.
An enviably talented bunch coming out of the German capital, Sector 5 consists of brothers Mika, Sami, Onno. Starting out crafting their own original rock bangers since the ages of 6 and 9, the band grew from the their early fascination with iconic acts like Nirvana and the Foo Fighters. The group later expanded to a four-piece while at BIMM, adding bassist Jules to the lineup. They've recorded an impressive and steadily growing catalogue of tunes since 2021, with 'Ghost' marking a whopping fifth single release in 2024 alone.
Formidable in the live arena, Sector 5 graced stages at notable venues and festivals in their native Germany and beyond ever since, including Canadian Music Week in Toronto and Africa Rising Music Conference in Johannesburg.

They achieved a significant milestone by winning both the German Pop & Rock Prize and the Best Rock Song Award at the prestigious Siegerlandhalle in Siegen. Evidently a burgeoning powerhouse on the continent, this triumph followed their recent victory at the Welcome to Europe Song Contest at Europapark, where their final song, 'Move to London', garnered success in the Amazon Charts, received widespread radio airplay and even made its way onto television.
Most recently, Sector 5 hit the road as the supporting act for Slovenian Eurovision finalists Joker Out's Germany tour. The up-and-comers will be closing out the year with a headline gig in their hometown's Resonanzen Berlin on November 1.
