A decade after her debut album 'Little Dreamer' went straight to the top ten, the talented singer and songwriter returns to the spotlight with her new album 'Gota Fría'.
After her very successful debut album, Rowley didn't feel the happiness everyone supposed she would. Being used as an image to advertise the product of her label didn't suit her and therefore she decided to go separate ways.
With her new album 'Gota Fría', inspired by a Spanish weather term, the english woman born in Peru sees the perfect connection between her story of the past years and her new album name.
The term describes, “long periods of the clouds breaking off and remaining stationary for weeks and then sudden violent clashes of warm and cold currents. I thought it was a beautiful name, and an awesome album title, because the meaning is so bold and a perfect image of my own journey.”
Rowley returns to the spotlight with a fusion of rock, blues and Americana and is ready to perform again. Working with co-writers Ron Sexsmith, Marcus Bonfanti and Ben Castle, the new album delivers both intimate and expressive views into her work.

During the time of her absence, she did not let her talent evaporate and recorded two film related collaborations for Dylan Thomas bio-pic ‘The Edge Of Love’. In addition, she also participated in co-writing ‘You've Got Me Wrapped Around Your Little Finger’ with Ben Castle for ‘An Education’.
Beth will hit the road with a two-piece band for a couple of gigs, matching with the release of her new album. She will play Upstairs at Whelans, 25th June. Tickets are on sale on Friday April 20th from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
