Beyoncé released the first two singles from her upcoming album on Super Bowl Sunday.
Queen B has turned country with her eighth studio album, entitled Act II, due out on 29th March. The news came during a Sunday night Super Bowl commercial for Verizon, in which Beyoncé did her best to “break the internet.” After a series of failed attempts, the ad came to a close with the singer’s call to “Drop the new music.”
Moments later, Beyoncé confirmed the new country-inspired album on her Instagram, serving as the second installment in her three part Renaissance project.

The news came paired with an unexpected drop of the album’s first two singles, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ‘16 Carriages.’ Sporting a black cowboy hat, Beyoncé upholds her signature R&B sound while adding a new country twist that is sure to mark the beginning of a cowboy-themed 2024.

Despite the recent conclusion of her Renaissance world tour, the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer has wasted no time in announcing the release, coming just two years after the project’s first installment.
