Previewed last month, the song will appear in the forthcoming film King Richard.
Beyoncé has delivered yet another heart stopping track with the release of 'Be Alive', from the new film, King Richard.
The biopic centers around Richard Williams, father to Venus and Serena. The song had been previewed in the trailer for the film last month, which stars Will Smith in the titular role.
“It feels so good to be alive/ Got all my family by my side/ Couldn’t wipe this black off if I tried/ That’s why I lift my head with pride,” Beyoncé sings in the piano-led, stripped-back first verse.
This iconic anthem will appear in the film's closing credits. Playing alongside Will Smith are Saniyya Sidney, Demi Singleton, Aunjanue Ellis, Tony Goldwyn and Jon Bernthal.
Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (Monsters And Men), King Richard is set to arrive in cinemas and on HBO Max next Friday (November 19).

Last year, Beyoncé released the visual album Black Is King alongside the song 'BLACK PARADE' featuring music from The Lion King: The Gift. She won the Best R&B Performance Grammy for 'BLACK PARADE', setting a new record for most Grammy's won by a female artist. Most recently, she covered 'Moon River' with husband Jay-Z for a Tiffany's ad campaign.
