The video is the second from their upcoming album A Celebration of Endings.
Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have released the music video for their latest single, “Tiny Indoor Fireworks.”
The track is a crunchy pop-rock earworm and the second off the band’s upcoming album, A Celebration of Endings.
Edinburgh-based animators the 2D Workshop produced the music video for the track. In the video, black and white footage of the socially-distanced band members flows in and out of trippy “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” style animations.
The track and its video manage to be poppy and fun without blunting Biffy Clyro’s edge. The overall effect is reminiscent of 90s and 00s chart-toppers such as the All-American Rejects and Weezer.
“Tiny Indoor Fireworks” shares this polished sound with the upcoming album’s first single, “Instant History.” Featuring a huge chorus and clear EDM influences, “Instant History” has already been played more than four million times on Spotify.
This danceable sound is the result of a long evolution by the former math rock band, which broke out of obscurity in 2007 with Puzzle, their first mainstream release. Since then, Biffy Clyro have had four albums reach the top five of the UK Albums Chart.

Their latest, A Celebration of Endings, comes out on August 14. In an interview with NME, the trio described it as an attempt to represent themselves “as a band and society as a whole.”
