Big Thief have announced a headline tour of the UK and Ireland for 2022. The indie quartet, which consists of Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, James Krivchenia and Max Oleartchik will be returning to Dublin for their biggest headline show to date.
The band will play live at The National Stadium, on Saturday 26th February 2022. Tickets – priced at €29.90 – are set to go on sale this Friday (June 11) at 9am from Ticketmaster.ie and Tickets.ie.
Big Thief's latest album, Two Hands, was released in 2019 and received widespread critical acclaim (including from here at Hot Press). Joey Molloy wrote: "Big Thief’s second record of 2019, Two Hands, feels like a victory lap. Just six months ago, they released a contender for album of the year, U.F.O.F. Despite the proximity of the releases, Two Hands and U.F.O.F. are fundamentally different. The latter was a foray into the realm of celestial folk, recorded in the lush seclusion of pastoral Washington state. Conversely, Two Hands is the earth twin to its alien sister."
